Concrete for BERLIN SHOWROOM by Dan Beleiu

BERLIN SHOWROOM

Rough, pure and clear. Concrete and felt are unique materials that, when combined, symbolize change and structure, while hearkening back to crafts and tradition. Like these materials, the fashion capital of Berlin is polarized with contradictions and developments that lay the foundations for tomorrow’s designers –the very ones joining the showroom next month. For the Spring/Summer 2015 showroom editorial entitled “Concrete”, photographer Dan Beleiu and stylist Saskia Schmidt played with these materials and their symbolic meanings to capture the characteristics of Berlin fashion. For the first time in New York, and yet again in Paris, these 31 participating designers will present their Spring/Summer 2015 collections to an international audience through Berlin Showroom Women during the Women’s Fashion Week. – from Berlin Showroom
