The range of colours consists of summery sorbet hues, for instance mint, sky blue, rose, pearly purple and chartreuse. This soft, romantic colour choice underlines the feminine, refreshing character of the collections’ outfits. Simply sophisticated! Some outfits are kept tonal, whereas in others various nuances are harmoniously united.
The use of only finest materials and floating fabrics, such as lace and chiffon, underlines the sensual mood of this collection. Lana Mueller and Gelena Roizen, the creative spirits behind the brand, vividly mix and match various lengths and cuts. The variety of lengths ranges from shorts to floor- length maxi- dresses. Worth of mentioning is also the very special detail- awareness of this collection, for instance many floor- length dresses are provided with slashes.
Additionally, the hair of the models is worn open, with middle- parting and slightly wavy. The make- up is kept rather natural. Open sandals round off those sophisticated looks. Accessory- wise, bags made of bast fibres, which are equipped with colourful pompoms, underline the playful character of this collection. Mirrored sunglasses give the looks their glamorous touch.
“Weekend” is the perfect collection for a journey to the French Riviera. The summery, blithe, joyful character of this collection definitely deserves devotion. We will definitely keep an eye on Lana Mueller and on all upcoming collections!
