High flying, professional, executive. These might just be some of the words you would describe yourself as if you are an ambitious young person, seeking to make their way forward in life and climb both the corporate and social ladder. Whilst your work ethic may be second to none and your innovation reaching leaps and bounds beyond your colleagues, there is still the issue of whether or not you are looking the part you are working so hard to play. Whether you like it or not, peoples first impressions of you will be formed before you even speak, based solely on the way you present yourself and, whilst opinions can change over time, you do not want to get off on the wrong foot in your next board meeting or social engagement. In this short guide, you will get some helpful tips on how to be looking your best no matter what the occasion so that you can present yourself to the world as the best version of you possible.

Dressing to impress

You first need to start by looking at what you are wearing as this will be the most obvious way of reading your characters. If you appear to be neat and modern and up to date with the latest fashion trends then it stands to reason that you will make a good first impression to whoever you are meeting, cementing your image as a professional in their eyes. A good place to start is with a collection inspired by youth and modernity from Chloé, which has item suited both for the formal and informal occasions you may find yourself working or networking this summer.

Hairstyles that mean business

Your hair is said to completely change the appearance of your face, and so it is vital that you find a variety of easy styles you can use to allow you to look your best no matter how much time you have to spare in the mornings. You can go online and find some great hair ideas for the office that can suit a variety of face shapes and hairstyles, contributing the professional and formal image you wish to out across both to the people you work with and to the world. One fail-safe style is a high-top bun create with a mesh hair doughnut to achieve the perfect shape.

What you do is who you are

A final thing you need to remember is that it is not just how a person looks that will decide if people take them seriously as a professional but also an individual presents their workspace, which is why it is recommended you look into how to organize your desk for maximum productivity and style. By simply buying and using some matching office organizers, your desk will suddenly look one hundred times better and allow people to see how organized you are in your job’s duties.

Being professional requires that you look professional too.
