FALL WINTER 2020.21 MENSWEAR COLLECTION

“Identifying a new way of wearing, established design codes are both honoured and subverted. What emerges is a modern vocabulary and silhouette. For men, suiting is softened to express new shades of masculinity. A play on traditional luxury, bouclé and rich tapestry come tailored in relaxed double-breasted shapes, trenchcoats and two-piece combinations, while cropped jackets introduce a prominent new cut. Womenswear is built with its own free-spirit and energy, expressed through defined tailoring, structured shoulders and a waisted silhouette, as layered suedes and silk crêpe scarves recall 70s liberation. Cut in velvets, chiffon, printed denim and edge painted leather, this play of textures and shapes is captured by a lush, autumnal palette of rich copper, scarlet and peacock blue.

Stories of global travel are intertwined throughout, realised as collaged vintage souvenir scarves sourced from around the world, and hand-sketched global landmarks – from the Arc de Triomphe to the Sphinx. The collection’s mood of international luxury is further amplified by accessories: passport holders, tailored garment bags and oversized luggage.“
