For the first time, the lead vocalist of Måneskin takes on a new creative challenge, teaming up with Diesel’s creative director, Glenn Martens, to co-design an exclusive capsule collection. The capsule collection is a bold extension of Diesel’s signature aesthetic, showcasing the pillars of the brand under Martens’ creative direction. Classic runway looks are reimagined with exaggerated proportions, giving a rebellious edge to the pieces. Burnout jersey tops and ultra-wide-leg drawstring pants emblazoned with Damiano’s name in Diesel’s signature font exude an edgy, distressed vibe, as if they’ve been scorched by a blowtorch. The collection also sees denim stretched to new dimensions, featuring peel-off treatments across oversized suits, maxi skirts, and exaggerated cargo pants, alongside a sweeping cape with raw edges. Adding to the eclectic mix, oversized coated wool suits and cozy knitwear are included, with the most personal touch seen in pieces printed and patched with Damiano’s tattoos.
Damiano’s connection to the collection has been evident in his recent public appearances, where key pieces from the Diesel x Damiano David capsule have already made their debut. At the BOF 500 Gala, Damiano wore a black coated tailored suit from the collection, while the black cape, also a part of the capsule, turned heads at the Diesel SS25 runway show.
