Chloé’s New Campaign Stars Claudia Schiffer

Chloé introduces its first high summer campaign, Chloé à la Plage, marking a new seasonal chapter under Creative Director Chemena Kamali. Presented as a visual and emotional tribute to summer, the collection is brought to life by supermodel Claudia Schiffer in a sunlit campaign photographed by David Sims. The images and garments channel a sense of ease and quiet sensuality.

The collection draws direct inspiration from the films of French New Wave director Éric Rohmer, whose coastal scenes and lyrical storytelling continue to influence contemporary fashion aesthetics. Kamali uses Rohmer’s intimate cinematic language as a starting point to express the essence of summer. Chloé à la Plage captures fleeting moments of desire and connection.

Airy fabrics, romantic silhouettes, and fine detailing define the collection. Soft blouses and flowing dresses feature delicate lace trims and broderie anglaise, offering a refined sensuality. These tactile choices emphasize natural movement and the quiet pleasures of summer by the sea. There’s a visual softness to the garments, but also a clarity of form, reinforcing Kamali’s vision of freedom through femininity.

Claudia Schiffer returns to the Chloé lens as a long-time friend of the house, lending familiarity to the collection’s narrative. “Her thoughtfulness, confidence and free spirit are truly inspirational,” Kamali said, recalling their first meeting. “Claudia naturally brings to life this emotional connection to summer full of radiance and intimacy.”

Through both design and imagery, Chloé à la Plage builds a visual vocabulary of freedom, soft light, warm breezes, fleeting glances. In Kamali’s hands, the high summer wardrobe becomes an emotional artifact, an echo of summer memories and their enduring presence in the imagination.

The Chloé à la Plage collection is available beginning May 7th at Chloé boutiques worldwide and online, as well as in seasonal locations in Saint-Tropez, Capri, and Monte Carlo.
