Nike has announced a new partnership that brings together the Mamba Mentality of Kobe Bryant and the drive for athletic precision of FC Barcelona. The collaboration introduces the Kobe Sheath logo to football for the first time, featured across a full collection that includes the 2025.26 away kit, new footwear, and co-branded apparel.

Nike and FC Barcelona present the partnership as a meeting point between two approaches rooted in constant progress. Kobe Bryant, known for his commitment to personal growth, shared a passion for football and a deep admiration for Barcelona’s tactical style. The club, in turn, viewed Kobe as a global figure who embodied intense discipline and purpose. The collaboration reflects this shared mindset, with each element of the release shaped around focused repetition and effort.

Barcelona’s 2025.26 away kit marks the centerpiece of the partnership. The jersey replaces the Nike Swoosh with the Kobe Sheath and takes visual cues from Bryant’s on-court legacy. A light Team Gold base carries Persian Violet and black accents, while the club crest and Kobe Sheath appear in a silicone gloss 3D snakeskin finish. Shorts continue the theme with a black base overlaid with snakeskin texture and touches of Persian Violet. The socks feature the Kobe Sheath over the shin and “Barça” lettering on the calf.

The apparel collection expands with a curated lifestyle range and three footwear options: the Kobe x FC Barcelona Air Force 1 Protro, Kobe 4 Protro, and a post-match slide.
Nike athletes from FC Barcelona appear in the campaign, including Alejandro Balde, Pablo Gavi, Patricia Guijarro, Frenkie de Jong, Ewa Pajor, Salma Paralluelo, Claudia Pina, and Alexia Putellas. The cast brings together players from both the men’s and women’s teams, reflecting a shared focus on effort across different styles of play.

The full Kobe x FC Barcelona apparel range is available now at Nike online and select retail locations, the Barça Official Store, and select partner locations. The footwear collection launches globally on July 31, with additional market rollouts scheduled later this summer. FC Barcelona will debut the new away kit on July 31 during its match against FC Seoul as part of the club’s Asian preseason tour.
