Carhartt WIP teams up with British shoemaker Solovair for Fall Winter 2025 season to produce a trio of exclusive leather footwear styles. The collaboration focuses on Solovair’s shoemaking expertise and Carhartt WIP’s recognizable palette, resulting in pieces that combine tradition with functional design.
The collection introduces three distinct silhouettes. The first features a three-eye Gibson construction in high-shine black leather, crafted in a standard fit with a rounded toe. This style also arrives in high-shine dusty Hamilton Brown, offering a subtle variation within the same structure. Each pair comes with two sets of colored laces inspired by the collection’s palette. These interchangeable details allow for variation in wear while tying the footwear directly to Carhartt WIP’s signature tones.

A third design shifts toward soft brown suede and carries a single buckle monk strap, expanding the offering with a different closure and finish.
Every design uses Solovair’s Goodyear welted soft suspension sole, a construction method central to the brand’s production. The process involves chain-stitching a welt strip to the upper and the insole, creating a shoe that lasts longer and can be resoled over time. This technique contributes to the durability of the collection while maintaining comfort.

The handmade production process defines the collaboration. Solovair requires between twelve and sixteen weeks to complete each pair, ensuring attention to craft from start to finish. This timeline reflects the brand’s emphasis on artisanal quality and measured output.
The Solovair x Carhartt WIP collection is available now. Distribution includes select Carhartt WIP stores around the globe, the brand’s official online shop, and the Carhartt WIP App, providing access to the collaboration both in-store and digitally.
