Palace and Nike return with a new Air Max Dn8 collaboration that arrives on December 17. The two brands have built a steady partnership through golf capsules, football archives, and running projects, and this next release brings their approach to a performance-driven Air Max design. The Air Max Dn8 continues Nike’s push to refine Dynamic Air technology, which uses a two-chamber system supported by eight internal tubes that compress and release with each step to deliver fast response under shifting force.

Palace chose the Dn8 as the base for this project because the shoe carries design cues that trace back to several pieces of Nike’s history. The collaboration channels the structure of the Air Max Plus through TPU fingers that stretch across the upper. Safety Orange accents reinforce that reference and set the tone for the entire pack. The color logic of the Nike Shox R4 also influenced how each palette forms around the midsole and forefoot. The sneakers gain extra character through lightning graphics that cover the exterior and tie each version into a single narrative.
The first pair arrives in Safety Orange and Particle Grey. The bright overlays pull attention to the TPU structure, while the grey base gives the lightning graphics visible space. Palace and Nike apply joint branding to the tongue and heel to establish the collaboration clearly. The second pair takes on Dusty Grey and Safety Orange. This version shifts emphasis toward the print layer, giving the artwork more presence while maintaining the same structural design. The third pair arrives in Black and Safety Orange. The darker build amplifies the lightning graphics and sharpens the contrast between the TPU framework and the base materials.
Each sneaker features Nike’s Dynamic Air cushioning system, which supports comfort during long wear and encourages quick transitions. The midsole design brings a light feel underfoot, which has guided Nike’s work on the latest generation of Air Max models. Palace adds its signature edge through the color placement, graphics, and co-branded elements that sit on the insole, tongue, and packaging.
Nike will release the full pack on December 17 for $200 per pair. The Safety Orange and Particle Grey version carries SKU IB4181-800, the Dusty Grey and Safety Orange pair carries SKU IB4181-002, and the Black and Safety Orange pair carries SKU IB4181-001. Palace may offer an early launch through its own channels.
