Founded in 2016 by Chinese designers Yushan Li and Jun Zhou, Pronounce operates between Milan and Shanghai. The duo has built the brand on combining international design training with influences from Chinese culture and heritage, consistently presenting collections that engage with architectural and philosophical themes.

The Fall Winter 2026.27 collection drew inspiration from the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda in Shanxi, China, a historic wooden structure renowned for its verticality, structural clarity, and balanced proportions. The collection reflected Pronounce’s focus on merging cultural references with contemporary design sensibilities, interpreting architectural qualities through structured and sculptural clothing forms.

By combining architectural inspiration with a modern sensibility, Pronounce delivers garments that are both sculptural and wearable, highlighting the designers’ ongoing commitment to innovation within traditional tailoring techniques.
