Ahluwalia introduces Fall Winter 2026, Birds of a Feather, drawing from a phrase Creative Director Priya Ahluwalia heard throughout her childhood. The collection examines friendship, chosen family, and community ties that shape daily life. This direction follows the themes of love explored in Spring Summer 2026 Affinity and shifts attention toward platonic connection. Ahluwalia focuses on the warmth and resilience that emerge through shared experience, emphasizing relationships built through trust, care, and continuity.

FALL WINTER 2026

Her research draws from traditions rooted in collective participation. Quilting circles, craft communities, and team sports inform the collection’s structure and visual rhythm. Books and films that address solidarity, including All We Imagine as Light, guide the narrative. Nigerian and Indian artists who examine interpersonal bonds also shape the design process.

Friendship bracelets serve as a starting point and expand into prints, braided satin trims, and sculptural elements integrated into garments. Draped silhouettes echo plaiting and layered construction, while braided denim and structured tailoring introduce depth and dimension. Embroidered feather motifs recur throughout the collection, symbolizing individuals who move forward together within shared networks.

Womenswear introduces expressive silhouettes and occasion-focused pieces. Ahluwalia draws inspiration from the experience of standing on a dancefloor surrounded by close friends. Draped mini dresses, fluid slip dresses, and embellished evening garments introduce movement and reflectivity. Sculpted tailoring defines structure, while relaxed separates and knitwear expand the wardrobe’s range. Braided surfaces, tactile fabrics, and varied proportions introduce softness.

Tailoring remains central across both womenswear and menswear. Wool suiting incorporates layered devoré textures, while braided and laser-treated denim introduces graphic surface variation. Relaxed utility silhouettes appear alongside textured knitwear and outerwear constructed from recycled and organic fibers. The color palette centers on burnt orange and chocolate brown, joined by blue and forest green.

Photographer Zach Apo-Tsang captured the Fall Winter 2026 lookbook in collaboration with Ahluwalia. Together, they developed imagery that situates the collection within an intimate and heightened visual environment. Stylist Nell Kalonji shaped each look through considered styling decisions.

The season also introduces an early preview of the next PUMA x Ahluwalia release. The VS-1 trainer appears in two colorways, drawing inspiration from grassroots football and fan culture. This collaboration continues Ahluwalia’s ongoing dialogue with sport and its role in collective identity, with the full campaign scheduled for later release.

Over 80 percent of fabrics come from responsible sources, including recycled polyester, recycled cotton denim, organic cotton, merino wool, viscose, and TENCEL. Deadstock fabrics remain present across tailoring and shirting. Braided construction, layered tailoring, and symbolic embroidery define garments shaped by connection and shared networks.
