Palace Skateboards and Nike have unveiled The Three Lions by Palace, a capsule collection created for the England men’s national football team. The release arrives on June 12 as England prepares for tournament football, placing Palace’s London point of view inside one of the country’s most visible sporting moments. The collection forms part of the Nike x2 series, which connects football federations with collaborators and Social and Community Impact partners. For this project, Football Beyond Borders receives direct visibility on the England pre-match kit, which players wear on June 6 and 10.

SPORTSWEAR

The capsule moves between performance gear and lifestyle pieces. On the pitch-focused side, Palace and Nike introduce a slim-fitting Dri-FIT Academy Pro Soccer Top and a Dri-FIT Soccer Jersey with prints inspired by St. George’s Cross. Both carry co-branding on the chest, keeping the visual language sharp and clear. A Dri-FIT Strike Drill Top arrives in tonal grey with infrared accents and co-branded patches, while a Track Jacket and Track Pants in lightweight smooth woven fabric complete the training section.

The leather and wool varsity jacket carries Palace typography and an enlarged three lions motif in chenille on the back, giving the capsule a piece with immediate fan energy. Silver anthem zip-up jackets add a cleaner match-day layer, while a black leather Cryoshot pushes the collection into a tougher register. T-shirts, an unstructured cap, and an uncuffed beanie complete the lineup, giving supporters several ways to wear the collaboration away from the pitch.

Football Beyond Borders gives the project its most meaningful element. FBB works as a long-term partner of Nike and the FA, using football to support education and social inclusion for young people. Its emblem appears on the actual England pre-match kit during tournament matches on June 6 and 10, placing the organization in front of a major football audience.

Palace anchors the launch with a campaign film shaped by its usual humor and ambition. Wayne Rooney and Jill Scott appear with a cast of England fans, while Rooney delivers Shakespeare in a film that tracks English football culture through different eras. The story reaches back to Neolithic times before revealing Stonehenge as a primitive goal.

“It’s always been a dream of ours to work officially with England,” said Lev Tanju, Co-founder and Creative Director of Palace. “Growing up in London it’s always a massive moment when tournament football starts and everyone comes together, rooting for the same team. We’ve made a few different things in the past as an ode to the England team, so now to officially partner is a dream come true.” Gareth Skewis, Co-founder and CEO, added, “To me England’s identity is so intertwined with the England national football team, the two are pretty much hand in glove. What could be better than designing for England with Nike. It’s quintessential childhood dream stuff.”
