PUMA and Brooklyn-based designer KidSuper unveiled an exclusive custom FUTURE boot for Neymar Jr., built around the phoenix. The project arrives as Neymar Jr. returns to the Brazilian national team and links the boot to themes of resilience, belief and rebirth. PUMA created the boot for football’s biggest stage and tied its design to Neymar Jr.’s personal story, his country and his legacy.

Pink boots have dominated tournament pitches, while PUMA created a different visual route for Neymar Jr. The brand designed the FUTURE boot exclusively for him, using a phoenix as the key image. Neymar Jr., KidSuper and the PUMA team chose the concept early, connecting it to his career path, the challenges he has faced and the comebacks that shaped him as a player and as a person.

KidSuper hand-delivered the boots to Neymar Jr. last weekend in a custom seeding case, ahead of Brazil’s next World Cup game. The design begins with a yellow base, a color Neymar Jr. personally chose. The shade gives the boot a direct Brazilian identity, while KidSuper’s hand-drawn phoenix graphic covers the upper. Feather details run into the FUTURE’s 3D textured surface, creating one complete visual language for the boot.

A green PUMA cat adds another reference to Neymar Jr.’s roots. The most personal element appears inside the boot. The sockliner takes inspiration from his “Brazilian boy” tattoo and features three hand-drawn dream symbols: a football pitch, a home and the World Cup trophy. Together, these details trace the path of a boy from Brazil who became one of football’s most recognized players.

This is a special boot for to me. The Phoenix is my story. Every time people counted me out, I came back. The yellow, the details in the sole, the symbols: all of it is personal. I wanted people to look at this boot and feel what I feel every time I put it on and step onto the pitch for Brazil. – Neymar Jr.

Colm Dillane described Neymar Jr. as one of his heroes and said the project felt especially personal because they are around the same age. The KidSuper founder explained that he has admired Neymar Jr. since childhood and hopes the boots bring him luck at the FIFA World Cup 2026. He also shared his wish to see Neymar Jr. win the tournament.

The boot also carries the performance structure of the PUMA FUTURE. A reengineered FUZIONFIT upper adapts like a second skin. Targeted 3D grip zones and GripControl Pro support touch during play. The FLEXGILITY outsole gives Neymar Jr. agile 360-degree range, matching a player known for instinct, creativity and the ability to change a match in an instant.

The PUMA x KidSuper FUTURE boot for Neymar Jr. retails for $300. PUMA will release it on June 26, 2026, at PUMA.com and selected retailers globally.
