KATSEYE has earned its first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with WILD. The five-track project debuted at the top of the chart after earning 170,000 equivalent album units in the United States during its first week.

The result gives KATSEYE a new chart milestone following the release of Beautiful Chaos in 2025. That project peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, giving the group its first top 10 entry. With WILD, KATSEYE moves to the top position and records its strongest album performance to date.
Led by the singles “Pinky Up” and “Hootie Frutti,” WILD generated 145,000 in pure album sales during its opening week. The figure marks KATSEYE’s biggest sales week and represents the largest pure album sales week for an all-female group in over three years.
The No. 1 debut also places KATSEYE among a small group of all-woman acts that have led the Billboard 200 during the current decade. The group becomes the fourth to reach the top position in the 2020s, following TWICE, NewJeans and BLACKPINK.
Competition at the top of this week’s Billboard 200 includes several major releases. Phoebe Bridgers arrives directly behind KATSEYE at No. 2 with Lost Weekend. Stray Kids follow at No. 3 with This & That, while Olivia Rodrigo takes No. 4 with You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love. Ella Langley reaches No. 5 with Dandelion, followed by Morgan Wallen at No. 6 with I’m the Problem.
Further down the top 10, Ariana Grande holds the No. 8 position with petal. Drake follows at No. 9 with ICEMAN, while Olivia Dean closes the listed top 10 positions at No. 10 with The Art of Loving.
The achievement also moves KATSEYE from a previous No. 4 peak to the leading position on one of the United States’ primary album charts. With WILD, the group joins TWICE, NewJeans and BLACKPINK among the all-woman groups that have reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 during the decade.
