Ghertner continues her work with CELINE after photographing previous seasonal projects for the house. For Hiver 2026, her photography places Rider’s clothes and accessories at the center of the campaign, extending the visual direction surrounding his developing CELINE vocabulary.

Rider presented CELINE Hiver 2026 at the Institut de France in Paris on March 7. The collection marked his third runway outing for the house and developed the increasingly defined wardrobe he has established since arriving at CELINE. Rider described his approach as building a life through clothes, with pieces intended to function as part of an individual wardrobe rather than exist as isolated runway ideas.
For Hiver 2026, Rider moved toward slimmer proportions. Tailored coats and suits followed the body closely, with neat shoulders and fitted torsos shaping much of the collection. Cropped kick-flare trousers appeared throughout, joined by adaptations of French peacoats and narrow long overcoats for men. Leather jackets, shirts, knitwear and tailoring created a wardrobe built around precise proportions and individual styling.

Layering played an important role in the collection. Sweaters appeared tied over tailored jackets, shirt collars stacked over one another, and trousers opened around the ankle to expose boots. Scarves formed oversized knots around the neck and face, and unconventional headpieces introduced moments of eccentricity within the closely controlled silhouettes. Rider used these details to give familiar garments distinct personalities without losing their practical quality.

The collection also reflected Rider’s interest in moving CELINE away from the oversized proportions that have dominated fashion over recent years. He focused instead on close tailoring and narrower shapes, using the cut of coats, jackets and trousers to define the body. The approach continued his interest in recognizable wardrobe pieces, though Hiver 2026 pushed them toward a sharper and more concentrated direction.
CELINE Hiver 2026 campaign brings the collection into its next visual phase. The project continues Rider’s evolving direction for the house, centered on close-cut tailoring, layered styling and clothes designed around individual character.
