Christian Siriano presented his Spring Summer 2027 collection at Cipriani Broadway in New York, drawing inspiration from the romance and fantasy of 18th-century France. The designer turned to the forgotten French fairytale The Queen of the Flowery Isles, using its mysterious queen and enchanted floral setting to guide the season.

The story introduces a queen surrounded by flowers, beauty, decadence and escape. Siriano translates that fantasy through references to the French court, including corsetry, dramatic volume, delicate lace, ornate embroidery and lavish textiles. He brings these elements into contemporary silhouettes with an ethereal and sensual approach.
Flowers provide one of the collection’s strongest recurring motifs. Siriano develops them through sculptural forms, cascading ruffles and intricate embellishments, while layers of chiffon and tulle create softer interpretations. The floral elements give the clothes a dreamlike quality and extend the fairytale reference throughout the runway.
The collection also draws from the scale and controlled construction associated with 18th-century dress. Corsetry shapes the body, while exaggerated volume introduces drama around the silhouette. Lace and embroidery add detailed surfaces, and flowing fabrics bring a lighter quality to the more structured forms.
Siriano places these references within the image of an overgrown magical garden. The formality of court dress meets dense floral decoration and flowing layers, creating the impression of a queen emerging from an old fairytale into the present. Romantic dresses, extravagant proportions and decorative surfaces define this vision of femininity.
A special runway look introduced a separate collaboration with Alani Nu Energy Drinks, marking the brand’s first fashion partnership. Siriano created a one-of-a-kind gown inspired by Witch’s Brew, Alani Nu’s seasonal flavor.
The custom design uses purple before shifting into electric green at the hem, referencing Witch’s Brew’s tart green apple and caramel flavor. The gown brought the product’s recognizable color story onto the runway and marked the first appearance of Alani Nu and Witch’s Brew at New York Fashion Week.
Siriano builds a collection around fairytale fantasy, French court references and floral imagery. The Queen of the Flowery Isles provides the narrative foundation, while corsetry, lace, embroidery, chiffon, tulle and sculptural flowers translate its enchanted setting into clothing.
