Tommy Hilfiger and Cadillac Formula 1 Team introduce their Austin Fanwear capsule ahead of the United States Grand Prix, bringing Western-inspired details to a five-piece collection. Cadillac Formula 1 Team driver Valtteri Bottas fronts the campaign, presenting designs that draw from Austin’s character and the visual identity of American motorsport. The release forms part of the partners’ ongoing fanwear collaboration, which explores the individual character of cities on the Formula 1 calendar.

The capsule places denim at the center of its design, incorporating chrome finishes, American flag chevron artwork, and Tommy Hilfiger’s signature red, white, and blue. The collection takes familiar wardrobe pieces and introduces details that reference the city’s Western influences and Cadillac Formula 1 Team racing codes.
The men’s denim jacket updates the traditional trucker silhouette with a light wash, while the women’s denim vest features a silver foil coating. A T-shirt, tank top, and denim cap complete the five-piece selection, with each item carrying artwork developed specifically for the Austin release. The collection maintains a focused approach, using recognizable American wardrobe essentials as its foundation.
“We started with icons of the Tommy wardrobe – the denim jacket and the white T-shirt – and looked at how we could rework them inspired by the character of Austin,” said Lee Holman, Chief Design Officer at Tommy Hilfiger. “It’s about taking familiar pieces and giving them a fresh point of view, while staying grounded in our Classic American Cool DNA.”
The Austin capsule belongs to a wider series of city-inspired releases from the Tommy Hilfiger x Cadillac Formula 1 Team fanwear collection. Each edition draws from the atmosphere surrounding major races, connecting team merchandise with the identity of its host city. The partnership has already introduced collections dedicated to Miami and Mexico, with a Las Vegas edition scheduled for November.

The broader fanwear offering includes co-branded clothing and replica pieces inspired by the official Cadillac Formula 1 Team kit. Driver caps, T-shirts, and polos feature precision detailing and moisture-wicking performance properties, reflecting the practical requirements of team apparel. These designs extend the collaboration beyond the Austin-specific capsule, offering additional options for supporters throughout the racing season.
“Austin gives us a chance to have a little more fun with our American roots,” said Cassidy Towriss, Chief Brand Advisor at Cadillac Formula 1 Team. “Tommy Hilfiger has such an iconic take on American style, and this collection brings that together with our team identity in a way that feels natural. It’s fanwear made for race weekend, but designed to live well beyond the paddock.”
The partnership arrives during Cadillac Formula 1 Team’s debut season in 2026. The team’s entry introduces another American presence to the championship, while Tommy Hilfiger continues its longstanding involvement in connecting motorsport with fashion and entertainment.
The United States Grand Prix in Austin marks the 18th race of the Formula 1 season, providing the setting for the latest city-specific release. With Bottas leading the campaign, the capsule connects the team’s first year of competition with the American design references that inform the collaboration.
