Campaign: Bottega Veneta
Season: F/W 10.11
Models: Alla Kostromicheva and Terron Wood
Photographer: Robert Longo
For another season Bottega Veneta is keen on experimenting with the direction of their campaign, and frankly with all the respect to the few big photography names shaping our fashion glossy it is nice to see some new names on the scene. Robert Longo shoots this engaging and dynamic new Bottega Veneta advertisement with models Alla K and Terron Wood.

Robert Longo is not a new name. He's an artist who made waves in the 80s with his "Men In The Cities" series, which this shoot for Bottega is clearly referencing. Many others have referenced those pieces of his lately, but it's nice to see Bottega go to the source.

Ah, I spoke too soon – they do mention the reference to his former work (and in the 70s? Who, guess I wasn't as cognizant of the timing) in the video.

Aw, this was an extremely nice post. Taking a few minutes and actual effort to produce a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a whole lot and don’t manage to get nearly anything done.
