Robert Longo is not a new name. He's an artist who made waves in the 80s with his "Men In The Cities" series, which this shoot for Bottega is clearly referencing. Many others have referenced those pieces of his lately, but it's nice to see Bottega go to the source.
Ah, I spoke too soon – they do mention the reference to his former work (and in the 70s? Who, guess I wasn't as cognizant of the timing) in the video.
