One of Meisel's all time favorite muses supermodel Kristen McMenamy is back on the cover of Italian Vogue (she appeared last back in July 2009) and interprets a role of a survivor reflecting on the Gulf of Mexico situation.

I think pretty much all models have got hang-up about one thing or another. I have a huge hang-up about my looks. I was always the outcast growing up. When I first worked with him (Steven), he made me feel beautiful and comfortable. And there's this certain magic in that he makes you feel part of the team.
