Rolston was discovered by Andy Warhol at an early age to shoot for Interview Magazine, and has shot iconic covers for numerous publications including W Magazine, Rolling Stone, Harper’s Bazaar and BlackBook. Matthew’s new book, called “beautyLIGHT” (published by teNeues), showcases some of Matthew Rolston’s best photographs from the past 20 years including those of Angelina Jolie, Zac Efron, Lindsay Lohan, Adam Levine, Jay-Z, Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Simpson, Jack Nicholson, Christina Ricci, Jennifer Lopez, Johnny Depp, Janet Jackson and many others.
Book was published in association with Remy Martin Louis XIIIs program for supporting visionary artists from the world of art, design, photography and architecture. Following on from Louise Bourgeoise (art) and Dror (architecture) and Christophe Pillet (design), Louis XIII has helped to launch "beautyLIGHT" by celebrity and fashion photographer Matthew Rolston.Besides the standard book ($75), there’s also a Collectors’ Edition (limited to 600 copies) with a signed print for $2500.
