Karl Lagerfeld commissioned by the Italian edition of Marie Claire and to be sold along with the January issue — features Czech model Eva Herzigova decked out in couture and portraying a dozen different characters. “It’s about how one girl can be every woman. It’s an idea I love,” said Lagerfeld, who noted he has worked with Herzigova for almost two decades. “We did the shoot in one night, from 8 in the evening until 8 in the morning.” The calendar is a first for the Italian edition and is slated to hit Italian newsstands — and select bookstores abroad — on Dec. 16, packaged in a black box. Editor in chief Antonella Antonelli plans to unveil the 24-image calendar on Dec. 11 at a cocktail party at the Palazzo Clerici. – Source WWD.
