Dell Adamo XPS with only 9mm is the worlds thinnest laptop and the first one with an elevated keyboard achieved by its unique industrial design, if you are a frequent laptop user you know how important that is. While it might be the thinnest you will need a bigger bag to carry it around, so not sure if it really is giving MacBook Air and other thin netbooks a run for their money in that department.
