The impressive design of Quattromani spring summer 2014 collection already got its recognition with a special mention award during the last edition of 'Who is on Next? '2013 womenswear awards.
Quattromani's collection SS2014 finds its starting point in Lisa Rodden's tactile sculptures and in Willy Verginer's wishful universe: as you can see inlay games, geometry and contrasts between colors and materials typify the knee length dresses, the pant suits, the pencil and maxi skirts and the sporty parkas. The juxtaposition of different textures stresses on clean lines and built volumes: so that classics as grosgrain, crepe de chine and poplin are joined by nylon, techno-nappa and varnish effect's leather.
Clean and slim silhouettes are underlined by definite pure color fields. An insinuating cicada follows the whole collection: it rests on the bright and vivid shades of blue, orange, red cyclamen, yellow ocher, navy blue to stop then on milky white or pure black. Carvings and geometry can also be find in the accessories: both in clutch and handbags' strict shapes, in high-gloss belts or in maxi bijoux and enamel brooches.
