Burberry Prorsum is gearing up for 2014.15 season by introducing the impeccably designed Autumn Winter pre-collection. The carefully crafted pieces in an engaging manner take on the sentiment of British arts and crafts. Burberry, romance, and music are now morphed into one, with that in mind the selection of new materials and prints sets a romantic tone.
Prints hit close to home, with a subtle yet eye-catching use of the landmark imagery and maps tastefully celebrating Britain in an international light. Colour selection goes hand in hand with the first days of autumn, charcoal, ink, bottle green, mint, and rose are only some of the used nuances. Materials selected are such as tapestry brocade, English-woven jacquards, shearling, weatherproof silk, and embroidered lace tulle to name a few. This choice is tying in both corners, bringing closer traditional and innovative side of the garments.
While taste of the men's main season collection may come in little over a month (during London Collections Men in January), we'll have to wait 'till February to see if any of these splendid women's pieces may actually come as spoilers of the AW14 collection. Nevertheless, while undoubtedly elegant pre-AW14 can easily be considered as a trend-setting voyage. It is easy to conclude, for fans of the label these chic pieces are a much needed transition into the grand season.
