PRADA Unveils Showstopping Christmas 2013 Windows
Prada stores around the globe are starting to unveil their showstopping Christmas 2013 windows. The festive window displays at PRADA stores are beautifully inspired by the "Wunderkammer' known as a cabinet of wonders, used from 16th to 18th century by the sophisticated European aristocracy. At the same time the legendary Italian label evokes the travel sentiment going hand in hand with the festive spirits of Christmas.
The curtain backdrop produces a minimal, almost theatre-like setting. The atmosphere is completed by a faithful reproduction of the cherry wood display cabinets with glass shelves of the original Prada store, which opened in 1913 in Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Next to the cabinets are arranged major pieces of the brand’s classic luggage – saffiano leather trunks, beauty cases and hat boxes – revisited and featuring Hawaiian prints from the 2014 Resort collection. – from PRADA
Prada windows are always worth a stop, not only for the products but also for the sophisticated display designs. There's a bit more of a reason to enjoy window shopping this season. See more of Prada Christmas 2013 windows below:
