British designer Jonathan Anderson presented his first collection for Loewe during the ongoing Paris Fashion Week. The spring summer 2015 design show a new path for the renowned fashion house, mainly known for its luggage design. The brand now under the care of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has tapped the creator of J.W. Anderson to give a new distinct direction to the Spanish born label. The show held at the headquarters building of UNESCO presented more than thirty new looks.
The SS15 collection is an exploration of the ways in which leather becomes liquid in appearance, alive with movement and fundamentally modern. A sense of airiness, achieved through advanced treatment of pure materials, including raw silk, cotton and linen. – from LOEWE
In charge of the styling was fashion stylist Benjamin Bruno while the hair styling was handled by the renowned hair stylist Guido Palau in addition to the most wanted makeup artist on the scene Ms Pat McGrath. Casting was handled by Ashley Brokaw who enlisted Adrienne Jüliger, Alexandra Elizabeth Ljadov, Alexandra Hochgürtel, Amanda Murphy, Anine van Velzen, Anna Grostina, Anne-Catherine Lacroix, Annely Bouma, Charlotte Lindvig, Dongqi “Dylan” Xue, Edie Campbell, Georgia Hilmer, Harleth Kuusik, Ine Neefs, Irina Liss, Issa Lish, Jamie Bochert, Julia Bergshoeff, Julia Nobis, Julie Hoomans, Kasia Jujeczka, Lexi Boling, Maartje Verhoef, Maria Veranen, Mariana Santana, Marta Placzek, Mica Argañaraz, Molly Bair, Natalie Westling, Olivia David, Ondria Hardin, Phillipa Hemphrey, Waleska Gorczevski, and Yulia Musieichuk.
Julia who opened the show is also the face of Label’s already released Spring Summer 2015 campaign.
