FALL WINTER 2016 WOMENSWEAR SHOWS
Softly does it: the Markus Lupfer woman never sleeps, and Autumn/Winter 2016 caters for her 24 hour lifestyle without compromising on polish. A quirky sophisticate, she glides through her day, transitioning from work to, play with easy charm. How to semaphore the season’s mellow mood? It’s all in the details: a sprinkling of stars .Sweetened frills and naïve embellishment plough a bold romantic furrow. The brand’s iconic kick continues to make its impact felt in the cult sequined fine-knit-gauge, merino wool sweaters, this season starring the studio pug, Leo, traced in gun metal and silver, alongside Rocket Man sunglasses developed with Linda Farrow. Cable knit gets an equally sparky update when traced in gold; argyle. Feels fresh when superimposed on camel in pink opal beads. – from Markus Lupfer
