Supermodels Stella Tenant and Julia Nobis takeover the new BALENCIAGA lookbook just released for the PRE FALL 2016 collection. Releasing the images of the (pre) fall 2016 collection in the last week of May is certainly late by the industry standards (it is the moment Resort 2017 lookbooks right now), nevertheless the collection itself is a transitional collection for the Paris based brand. While the pieces were created by the design team between Alexander Wang’s departure and Demna Gvasalia’s take over it is clear the styling of the same was taken into the label’s new direction. While it might come sinful to describe a house as old as Balenciaga as influenced by Vetements, the new pre fall is undoubtedly shaped in the creative director’s signature sentiment.
