“I think it’s important to have a pair of jeans that you love in your closet; three great T-shirts in white, gray and black; a great jacket; a great denim jacket; a really well-fitted suit; pants; and a little dress that you can throw on. Once you have that combination you can rotate and play with them.
I want to feel comfortable, minimalist and masculine, but sexy at the same time. I don’t feel very comfortable in a girly outfit – there always has to be a little bit of a twist; a girly dress tweaked with a masculine shoe. I think that’s how most women dress nowadays, they like to have that little bit of masculinity but they want to still feel like a woman. It’s a balance. For my everyday life I wear flats because I’m quite tall and I’m very impatient, and I move faster in them. But I definitely feel sexier in a heel.” – Anja Rubik for The Edit
