Demna Gvasalia presented his debut collection for BALENCIAGA Spring Summer 2017 menswear during the Paris Fashion Week, which is also brand’s first men’s runway. The show was held in the caged rooftop atrium of a Jesuit school in Paris.
The collection shows Gvasalia’s commitment to tailoring, featuring coats and jackets with extremely wide shoulders, followed by tight-fitting suits, and a suits reminding of Catholic vestments at the finale, made of fabrics from a Vatican’s supplier.
