One of the most popular german designers, Guido Maria Kretschmer, presented his Spring Summer 2017 collection titled “Rayon de Soleil” 29th of June 2016, the second show day during Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week Berlin. As you might assume by the collections’ title choice, Guido Maria Kretschmer took its inspiration from the blithe french lifestyle. Therefore it is a collection for the cosmopolitan, modern woman at any age who does not take life or herself too seriously. The collection is a full jollification and expresses pure joie de vivre. The designer stayed true to his significant style which is always feminine, endlessly elegant and utterly glamorous.

Collection- wise, feminine designs which are embellished with floral details are significant for this glamorous collection. Simply smooth! For his typical silk dresses, caftans, delicate blouses and light skirts the renowned designer prefers floating fabrics. That material choice underlines the sensual, sophisticated character of those pieces. Albeit also his colour palette deserves devotion, it consists of maritime elements together with rose and ecru hues. Completely charming!

Worth of mentioning is Guido Maria Kretschmers’ very well- known, unique detail- awareness: we noticed embroided lace, silk and sequins. He creativly plays with various lengths and volumes, for instance some long dresses and skirts a slash in front. That gives the creations their extra seductive, sensual touch. It is all about details!

Shoe- wise, both high, open sandals and wedges can be seen. The hair of the models is worn as a backcombed ponytail, with natural make- up. In addition to that, long, eye- catching earrings and necklaces are worn as accessoires. Sunglasses as well.

We will definitely keep an eye on Guido Maria Kretschmer and all upcoming collections.
