British fashion house Daks presented their latest Spring Summer 2017 collection during the first day of this season’s London Fashion Week. The Daks woman for Spring Summer 2017 is cultured and sensual dreamer, creative director Filippo Scuffi takes us to emotional journey of an elegant English woman traveling across India.

“The collection demonstrates a great balance of shapes and weights which create a respect for the brand’s heritage. The DAKS House Check returns, allowing the collection to remain indisputably English despite the many cultural influences, with that unmistakable style and elegance. The palette ranges from the tones of the House Check, to a burgundy shade with ruby reflexes and Indian sunset orange; a very light shade of grey and finally white, to represent more than ever the summer season. The silhouette is generally soft, and deliberately not too fitted, suitable to a more relaxed holiday style where time stretches out losing its boundaries. Coherently even the hair of the models is simply and softly gathered. Bags are also important and are made in highly prestigious materials to complement the looks, enriching them harmoniously.”
