Discover Christian Siriano’s Pre-Fall 2017 Collection inspired by the romanticism of artist Renata Brzozowska. Featuring lightweight materials in soft pinks and greys, the collection celebrates expressive shapes and the power of movement.
For my Pre-Fall 2017 collection, I was inspired by Polish artist Renata Brzozowska and her romantic and ethereal paintings of dancers. The gestural brush strokes and soft ballerina pink and gray tones inspired a soft collection with powerful silhouettes that move with the body to create strong expressive shapes. I loved the romanticism in her pieces, as well as the romanticism I studied in Victorian art works. The collection is light and elegant but modern for our customer. Bold graphic avian prints illustrate the idea of a bird’s dance through life. They flutter effortlessly and I wanted to bring that flamboyance to this collection. – Christian Siriano
