SPRING SUMMER 2017 WOMENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
Capturing the spirit of life and love with the ease of summer. Signature textures in shapes that clash and complement each other create softness and serenity in movement. Corsetry inlayed into pure cotton shapes. Tailored shoulders and billowing sleeves are captured by ruched trousers and skirts. Eco-friendly smooth ultra-suede in a signature all-in-one and trousers echo the feeling of freedom in tan colours, while keeping the brand’s innovative cruelty free philosophy. Organic wovens in washed cotton muslin come in natural shades of cedar and khaki to form rich volumes on asymmetric dresses and bag trousers, which are gathered and drawn in, or belted with fold up utility bags. Knitwear in textured linen stitches, silk mix slub yarns and light gauzes, with large sacks in organic jute An edgy feminine take on menswear; classic English men’s shirts are darted into gentle, sophisticated shapes to give a polished appeal with overprinting and immaculate pattern cutting in pure white and sky blue. Denim is polished in fine knits that merge seamlessly in all-in-ones. True blue separates are layered with a frayed cape-like detail. – from Stella McCartney
