Ermanno Scervino‘s pre-fall 2017 collection celebrates feminine beauty and sensuality. Masculine patterns, such as Prince of Wales and houndstooth, are reworked into feminine coats, skirts, trousers or casual day dresses.
Outerwear pieces are the result of innovative technical processes. A bon-ton flair adds a vibrant touch to boiled wool coats with details made out of macramé lace and fur, or warm double cashmere in shades of black and fuchsia. An urban vibe distinguishes the parka embellished with fur details and a contemporary embroidery with Eastern dragons, and the lightweight bomber jacket coming with a refined shaded quilted silk finish. Haute couture workmanship is also seen on knitwear, with brightly coloured geometric patterns, and eco-leather, used on skirts and pleated dresses with Valenciennes lace accents. Crêpe de Chine shirts and blouses are embellished with ruffles. The evening brings out ultimate femininity with dresses and jumpsuits in silk macramé or sensual transparent lace creating a 3D effect. – from Ermanno Scervino
