#PFW Y-3 Fall Winter 2017.18 Collection

Yohji Yamamoto and adidas‘s collaborative venture – Y-3 presented Fall Winter 2017.18 collection during the Paris Fashion Week. Set in the highly-coveted Palais de Tokyo the show was inspired by ‘digital forest’ landscape, presented through a compelling and disruptive lighting concept. Exploring the relationship between nature and technology, Y-3 challenges living in a modern, digital world imagining it reclaimed by nature and innocence.

Y-3 reflects this juxtaposition between hi-tech and natural worlds with a collection of provocative, disruptive and seminal pieces featuring military infused detailing, constructed masculinity, innovative fabrics and elegant silhouettes. The highly-coveted Palais de Tokyo provided an ideal backdrop for the nature-inspired runway and nods to Yohji Yamamoto and adidas’ continued exploration of the future. – from Y-3
