Designer Anna Molinari presented Blumarine‘s Resort 2019 A Romantic Journey womenswear collection with the latest lookbook captured by fashion photographer Vito Fernicola. For the season Blumarine woman is a free spirited and dreamy traveler, with colorful and vibrant wardrobe, who likes to visit eclectic destinations.

“For Spring Summer 2019, her journey begins in a romantic Victorian garden, the air heavenly scented by a thousand roses, which as if by magic climb on languid ruched chiffon dresses or on midi tunics sequined with shiny floral motifs. Roses are blooming on masculine shirts in crisp poplin, worn with sequined shorts; they blossom on knitted stretchy dresses contouring the body or else on tailored blazers paired with fluid pleated palazzo pants.
The Blumarine woman is curious and a bit gypsy; she’s always ready to fly away, following her dreams. She’s obviously attracted by Ibiza’s bohemian atmosphere and by its folk, free-spirited style. She wears slim-fitting dark denim pants with lace handkerchief intarsia on the sides, worn with a black sporty sweatshirt embroidered with Swarovski crystals; or long tiered dresses in crisp poplin, printed with black-and-white bandanna motifs and encrusted with precious crochet inserts. For long night walks in the old town, she loves the romantic, fresh lightness of white cotton voile lingerie dresses, trimmed with macramé lace; in a play of contrasts, she wears them with suede or leather fringed waistcoats and golden leather cowboy boots for an eccentric touch. She also favors a long, flowy pink chiffon number with a crystal-embroidered handkerchief bodice which has a sensual allure, while denim is given a seductive edge with pearls and lace appliqués.“
