The designer renowned for her use of fur and leather has for the next Spring season focused on eye-catching accessory pieces while mixing in monochrome black and white looks with logomania as well as animal prints. The Simoneta Ravizza girl this season is a true ‘sporty diva’.
And it’s this elegant and irreverent allure that is expressed in the Techno-Couture spirited sportswear of the collection, with ultra-feminine details that make for a fresh, modern glamour.Fluffy marabou detachable trims are the leitmotiv of the collection; seen on bomber jackets and biker jackets in oversized stonewashed denim, with animal prints adding in a sexy, sassy feel; transformed into pretty soft puffball miniskirts worn with little cotton piqué polo shirts; peeping out in contrast with the hems of bon-ton swing dresses and on boxy jackets and short overcoats in brilliant color-block shades. Long duster coats in black nylon or strong colors give a nod to boxing robes and are worn with shiny satin shorts or marabou embellished mini-dresses, for a cool, sleek, sporty look, mirrored in the soft, elongated Xiangao lamb coats, crafted in soft pastel shades. – from Simonetta Ravizza
