Discover HUI‘s Fall Winter 2019.20 collection, that was inspired by the simplicity and cleanliness of Italian design in its sophisticated minimal vision, and focuses on the details that become the emblem of ancient Chinese tradition, presented during the recently finished Milan Fashion Week.

“The HUI DOMUS collection expresses how architecture protects human beings, fashion is an experiment on the body and art nourishes the mind.Tradition and innovation. Construction and deconstruction. The HUI woman, for the Fall Winter 2019-2020, becomes an icon of a linear style by using different materials to make simplified forms. The small metal parts become jewelled clasps, as some ancient jewels tell the story of older cultures in the contemporary time.
The emblematic figurative embroidery are transformed into cult accessories with a marked audacity closely related with sustainable development, tradition and protection of the woman’s value and the Chinese ethnic minorities at which designer ZHAO HUIZHOU pays special attention to. With the aim of purifying the design’s whole look, HUI overlaps cashmere wool with immaterial, almost evanescent, plissés and translucent silks to natural alpacas. Feminine asymmetries made of technical off-white wool heat the impalpable organza, while iridescent velvets and shiny sequins illuminate fluidity.“
