COMME des GARÇONS has collaborated with Nike on a new Shox TL sneaker style. Originally spotted at Japanese brand’s Paris Fashion Week Spring Summer 2019 show, the sneakers come in 2 colorways – triple black and triple white.
This is not the first collaboration between CdG and Nike, as the ACG Mowabb sneaker was presented at brand’s FW18 show.
The sneaker was debuted in all white and all black, with the addition of statement metal chains with CDG logo tags in silver and gold, according to hypebeast.com.
The Shox was most popular in the early ’00s, but the line was discontinued as Nike discovered the other technologies. The model is to make a comeback, due to high popularity of chunky sneakers over the last few years.
The sneakers will be available at COMME des GARÇONS stockists worldwide from June 13th, for a retail price of 357 USD.
