“For Spring/Summer ’20 Marta Jakubowski’s woman has a new determination in her step. Initially inspired by heroines of contemporary and classic cinema including Marlene Dietrich and the character of Lola in Tom Tykwer’s Run Lola Run, the collection blends and twists the codes of power dressing from various eras. Considering these established archetypes in the context of women she knows and loves today, abstracted details aim to explore this genre with personal twists of sensitivity.“
