Fashion photographer Johnny Dufort captured MSGM‘s Spring Summer 2020 campaign featuring models Ilona Desmet and Yorgelis Marte. In charge of art direction was Christopher Simmonds, with casting direction from Barbara Nicoli and Leila Ananna, and production by MAI Productions. Styling is work of Robbie Spencer, with beauty from hair stylist Jawara, and makeup artist Linsey Alexander.
“The Rimini of the 1980s and 1990s with its beach clubs, its tourists, the nightlife, just like in his memories as a young boy. The typical sense of fun and the light-hearted feeling of those years are evoked in ‘postcard’ images, snapshots from the Riviera where the brilliant colours of the collection meet British photographer Johnny Dufort’s flashy aesthetic. Because, to MSGM, ‘la moda d’estate è soprattutto vacanza’ (fashion in summer is mainly about holidays).“
