FALL WINTER 2020.21 WOMENSWEAR

“Hand dying with natural elements has always been a signature and personal process for Alejandra Alonso Rojas. For her eponymous fall 2020 runway collection, Alejandra embraces mother nature by gathering discarded roses, eucalyptus, and hibiscus leaves to use as the foundation for her silk fabrics. This technique of hand rolling, steaming and then freezing each piece of petal-embedded silk results in a one of a kind motif, and much like snowflakes, no two garments are ever the same.

This season, Alejandra Alonso Rojas collaborates with Chloe Gosselin to create the perfect footwear accompaniment to her hand eco-dyed ready to wear collection. The introduction of a new square toe along with Chloe’s signature ruching detail in earth tones echoes Alejandra’s forever focus on quality, craftsmanship and effortless luxury. Alejandra also features Monica Sordo’s jewelry designs on the runway this season. Monica’s use of dynamic angles and deep dimension in her jewelry act as the perfect foil against Alejandra’s collection of vibrantly flowing hand dyed silks.“
