Fashion brand CHOCHENG presented the Spring Summer 2021 collection, that was inspired by 1961 Jacques Demy’s film Lola, and the styles of the main character played by French actress Anouk Aimée. The collection was shown as part of the recently finished New York Fashion Week.
SPRING SUMMER 2021 WOMENSWEAR COLLECTION
Photographers Dan & Corina Lecca captured the SS21 lookbook, with styling from Katie Mossman at The Wall Group. Beauty is work of hair stylist Rodney Cutler for Cutler/Redken Salons, makeup artist Campbell Ritchie for Olive & M and Cosmetics by Mad Hippie, and manicurist MLM Represents using Shashanie Gray Professional tools and Chanel Beauty nail lacquer.

“This season, CHOCHENG explores a new wave approach to his signature designs. Gently tailored, cotton boucle jackets are updated with matching Swarovski crystal beading, embellished houndstooth trim, or box pleated ruffles on the lapels. Cotton sateen soft shirt dresses are contrasted with handwoven cotton accordion trim, a new handcrafted technique the brand is featuring this season. Runway looks are complimented with handwoven straw top hats while his playful pom poms appear throughout the collection.” – from Chocheng
