Killing Eve star Jodie Comer takes the cover story of American InStyle Magazine‘s January 2021 edition lensed by fashion photographer Charlotte Hadden. In charge of styling was Elizabeth Saltzman, with prop styling from Julia Dias at The Wall Group, and production by Susannah Phillips at Truro Productions. Beauty is work of hair stylist Sam McKnight at Premier Hair, makeup artist Val Garland at Streeters, and manicurist Rebecca Jade Wilson at The Wall Group.
The great thing about creating Villanelle, as Phoebe had written her, was that her tendencies and behaviors were very clear, but then as we were filming, I was bringing in elements of myself. When Phoebe was watching the dailies, she’d write them into the script a little bit, so it felt like a collaboration. I didn’t go to drama school, so techniques, I know very little of. For me, it’s always just been instinct. – Jodie Comer
