Fashion brand ULLA JOHNSON enlists models Ajok Madel and Effie Steinberg to star in their Spring Summer 2021 campaign lensed by fashion photographer Yelena Yemchuk. In charge of styling was April Hughes.
“A modernist sensuality and organic ease informs the Spring/Summer 2021 season, with Johnson interested in the ways clothes envelop the body. Looking to Japan, Johnson was inspired by ceremonial dress, shibori printing, graphic handloom and bore patchwork, ikebana, and the place were delicacy and structure converge. Clean origami-like pleating offsets the fluidity and fragility of softly constructed diaphanous silhouettes while amply cut trousers offer an understated masculine counterpoint.
