Victoria Beckham who is expected to take part in the upcoming London Fashion Week has showcased her latest collection prior to the scheduled date. The collection masterfully embodies the blueprint of aesthetic solidly set up by Victoria Beckham and her team. To present the collection Beckham team shot the lookbook (and not yet fully released video) in the striking space of the world renowned Hayward Gallery. Located in a building serving as the prime example of brutalist architecture in Britain. “This season’s setting is a special one, Hayward Gallery is an iconic London building and an incredible landmark of Brutalist architecture. Art galleries are something I have really missed over the past year and it was a real privilege to showcase the collection in one of my favourites,” shares Victoria Beckham with the press.
Beckham has presented twenty-one new looks exploring the florals for winter and subtle daywear monochrome colour blocks. The lines meticulously architectural celebrate the labels minimalist sentiment.
Beckham who is now a well established name on the fashion scene is perhaps only after the pandemic year ready to leave behind her ‘celebrity line’ stigma. The next step for Beckham will be to study the incoming generation of porentical shoppers. While the late millennials might never shake off her Spice Girls personna there is the upcoming army of Gen Z customers. The generations who might have been to young to remember Victoria for her Posh Spice little black dress statement. Beckham’s new collections are already able to target the Gen Zers, who are currently driving the contemporary and designer fashion markets around the globe. Beckham flair for the minimal cuts and architectural clean sophistication can remain, and her loyal customers will too. However, perhaps the lessons Victoria Beckham learned with her VVB line may be more than useful for the growth of the main collection. She’d be smart to tweak in a similar manner that aesthetic for younger women who want to look less sweet. In addition to her foyer into the beauty industry, there is no doubt Beckham can seduce entirely new audiences and endure. After decades in the limelight if anything Victoria Beckham has learned the true price of finding a moment to take a step back and then look forward.
For Beckham and her team, and upcoming collection film music was equally as important. “Our soundtrack this season is just as special, Inner City Life by my old friend GOLDIE. Thank you so much for letting us use this incredible track! We’re dreaming of a dancefloor,” notes Victoria. If anything Victoria Beckham has prepared the most stunning dance floor ready all-glitter boots for the new season.
Beckham also enjoys a massive support on social media, with almost thirty million followers garnered across the media channels, twenty-eight million and counting only on Instagram. A list of loyal followers ready to shape and create new trends with Beckham.
