Italian brand MILA SCHÖN presented their Fall Winter 2021.22 Collection, that explores movement, with a fashion film during the recently finished Milan Fashion Week. The collection brings timeless modernity with light and mobile pieces, and it explores balance between the preciousness of the materials and the embroideries. It was inspired by the work of American sculptor Alexander Calder.
FALL WINTER 2021 WOMENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
“It is made up of compact blousons, welcoming coats and double-breasted pencil-thin trenchcoats; rounded capes with hoods; shortened trousers, jumpsuits, A-line dresses; pullovers with multicolored motifs. Curvilinear intarsia create color contrasts and geometric movements on the silhouette, with a decidedly modernist feel. Curves and straight lines alternate in evolutive balances, in graphic juxtapositions of yellow, blue, red, light gray and milk, plus the unavoidable black and white. The same curvilinear geometries turn into brushstrokes on coats, or into embroideries made of ribbons, jets and crystals with concentric shiny and matte effects on dresses.” – from Mila Schön
