Fashion house STELLA MCCARTNEY presented their Autumn Winter 2021.22 Collection, that fuses fantasy and reality, glamour and sport, and adds extravagance to everyday life. The collection was inspired by D is for Desire from the #StellaAtoZ, and explores a collective longing to dressed up and go out. It celebrates escapism, and it brings a conscience to the fashion industry – 77% of the collection is made with sustainable materials.
“In ready to wear, a vibrant and youthful palette energises the season’s exuberance – grounded by an edit of classic neutrals. PVC-free sequins and glitter on lurex glimmer alongside heritage dogtooth, embodying a dual spirit of glamour and utility. Statement partywear pieces are paired with timeless staples, expressed through psychedelic prints taking cues from London club culture, fitted lurex and Alter Mat sequins delivering a desirable impracticality. Youthfulness comes from ruched, bodycon and knotted dresses with cut-out details in a comfortable stretch satin made from forest-friendly viscose, a new sustainable innovation.” – from Stella McCartney
